Surface & terrain

The perimeter is a paved, flat, one-way road — ideal for walking and jogging. Inside the ring, the open lawns are grass; stay on the paths after rain.

Where to start

Most people begin near the southern food stalls or the north-end Botanic Gardens entrance. Either way you complete the same loop; there is no official start line.

Evening & night walks

After sunset the south-side stalls draw crowds, so the loop stays busy and reasonably lit. Keep to the perimeter road and use normal city awareness.

Water, parking & facilities

Coconut-water and snack vendors line the perimeter. Public toilets are limited (try the Botanic Gardens and nearby venues), and street parking is scarce — arrive early or use a taxi. See the parking guide on the main page for details.
